This individual specializes in the resolution of arbitration negotiations, schedule arbitration teleconferences, and performs a wide variety of tasks such as generating reports, correspondence, and setting up informal offers.Job SummaryThe Arbitration Specialist - Revenue Recovery is responsible for analyzing claims eligible for arbitration. This individual should possess superior communication and computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. This individual will review, analyze and report reimbursement integrity measures.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze claim reports to determine claims eligible for Arbitration for both ERISA/NSA claims as well as state insurance department claimsPrepare claims for submission to the appropriate portals for arbitrationHave the ability for re-prioritizing key tasks and meet with manager and director to provide updates of findings and outcomesComplete special projects and other duties as assignedStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office with a strong proficiency in Excel spread sheets, using formulas, pivot tables, filters, etc.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of the insurance industryProven success in negotiation and technical writingProfessionalism in all dealings, both internal and externalAbility to clearly communicate, both verbally and in writingKnowledge of medical terminologyOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent Experience in AR or Insurance Collections Technical & Industry KnowledgeProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, filters, etc.)Familiarity with the insurance industry and the No Surprises Act (IDR process)Knowledge of CPT codes, HIPAA regulations, and communication/privacy lawsUnderstanding of legal and medical terminologySkills & AbilitiesStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to reconcile accounts and triage cases for procedural errorsPrepare and submit weekly client reportsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessionalism in all interactionsCollaborative team playerOther RequirementsConsistent and reliable attendanceMaintains a professional appearanceComfortable using a computer as the primary tool for job functionsPerforms other duties as assignedPerks & Benefits:Fully Remote – Work from anywhere within the United States with reliable high-speed internetMultiple medical plan options Health Savings Account with company contributionsDental & vision coverage for you and your dependents401k with Company matchVacation, sick time & Company paid holidaysCompany wellbeing program with health insurance incentivesWhat’s Next?If you’re ready to bring your skills and passion to our growing team, we want to hear from you!
