We are looking for a motivated and effective leader to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate would be resourceful, flexible with requests, enjoys solving problems and is effective at managing relationships and communicating. This position is based in Puerto Rico.#PuertoRicoCostaRica Essential Functions: Keeping accurate records and reporting on billing or collection activityMonitoring accounts to identify overdue paymentsFind and contact clients to ask about their overdue paymentsUpdate account status records and collection effortsReport on collection activity and accounts receivable statusAssumes responsibility of month end close tasks including monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with various accounting activities for the integration of acquired companiesAssist in supplying documentation in a yearly external audit Security Requirement: Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program. Qualifications: You have 1-2 years of related experience in various accounting roles (billing/AR, AP, general ledger)You have a BA/BS in Accounting or a related fieldYou communicate well with team members and customersYou have intermediate MS Office skillsFluent in both written and spoken SpanishExperience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plusYou are detail-oriented, with exceptional problem-solving skillsYou have effective project management skills, including challenging the status quo and identifying needs to re-assess existing approaches/processesYou are adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environmentYou demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy Additional Information Don’t have all the skills/experience mentioned above?
