Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a visionary and experienced Vice President, Solution Design (Digital Projects) to join our team and lead the creation of innovative solutions for design, engineering, procurement, and construction of large industrial facilities. The selected candidate could alternatively reside anywhere in the US with the preferred locations being Houston, TX, Huntsville, AL or Atlanta, GA. You will be responsible for defining and executing the high-level architecture and overseeing the development and integration of cloud/SaaS solutions that leverage internal and external products. You will also manage the program delivery, budget, schedule, quality, and stakeholder expectations. You will work closely with senior leadership, portfolio strategy team, marketing, sales, product managers, engineering, and customers to understand the business needs and translate them into actionable and scalable solutions.
• Define, communicate, and execute the vision and roadmap for the architecture and program management of solutions for large industrial facility projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of program managers and solution architects who are responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining cloud/SaaS solutions that integrate internal and external products.
• Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and methodologies for solution architecture and program management, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and values.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, strategy team, product managers, engineers, and customers to understand the business requirements, market trends, and customer feedback, and translate them into innovative and feasible solutions.
• Manage the program delivery, budget, schedule, quality, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring timely and effective communication and escalation of issues and risks.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and vendors that can enhance the solution architecture and program management capabilities and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the solution architecture and program management processes and outcomes.


Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture and program management, preferably in solutions used in the industrial facility domain.
• Experience in Owner Operator (O/O) and/or Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) industries
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex and large-scale cloud/SaaS solutions that integrate internal and external products.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of cloud platforms, architectures, technologies, and tools, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, microservices, APIs, etc.
• Strong managerial skills and experience in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, product managers, engineers, and customers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance trade-offs and prioritize competing demands.
• Strong customer focus and orientation, with the ability to understand and empathize with the customer's needs and expectations.
• Strong passion and drive for innovation and excellence, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, with a passion for technology innovation and disruption.
