Job Type: Contract Job Category: IT Job Title: Applications Engineer (ServiceNow) – Remote (Only Open to Listed Locations) Job Summary: We are looking for a talented and experienced Applications Engineer (ServiceNow) to design, configure, implement, and maintain ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance IT service management (ITSM), optimize workflows, and support scalable business processes—all in a fully remote environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and customize ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and custom apps. Configure ServiceNow workflows, business rules, scripting (JavaScript), UI policies, client scripts, and notifications. Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, and third-party tools. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing application support and enhancements. Develop and maintain ServiceNow documentation, test scripts, and release notes. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement process improvements. Stay up to date with ServiceNow best practices, patches, and new features. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow application engineering or development experience. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Administrator preferred. Experience with scripting (JavaScript), UI customization, and ServiceNow integrations. Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
