Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager - Modular the Submittal Design Engineer role involves creating Mechanical Layout designs for Pre-fabrication modular solutions whilst supporting pre-sale documentation and Technical submittals, this role ensures drawings issued for Submittal are controlled, accurate and easy to follow.What a typical day looks like:Provide assistance to Technical Sales Manager and PMDC team to achieve strong pre-sale design submittals and technical submittals. Liaising with Sales team and the Electrical and Mechanical Design Managers in Fontana, CA and Dallas, TX on the development of the library of standard drawings and technical submittals for industry standardization. Ensuring drawings issued for Submittal are aligned, accurate and easy to follow against customer requirements, detailing the expectation from Technical Sales.Collaborating with sales, marketing and product teams to develop product brochures and sales literature.
