Job description: Zurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks an Application Subject Matter Consultant to be a member of the Information Technology Services team within the Enterprise Integration and Data Management team. Specific duties include: support and advise on the code development of DevOps platforms for On-prem containerized applications; build the DevOps application platform for Azure public cloud; be responsible for engineering the DevOps application platform for AWS (Amazon Web Services); understand customer business requirements and integrate the application performance improvements that are aligned with the business requirements; responsible for the operations control in managing and maintaining the Big Data environment; take a lead role on installation and management of Azure Cloud and On-premises data platforms; develop project pipelines, identifying security concerns, and setting the cloud CI/CD for active projects utilizing DevSecOps; and act as a specialist that is responsible for developing specialized tools for DevOps security. May work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. 40% of the time.Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 7 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Developer (DevOps), Architect (DevOps), or other CI/CD pipeline release scheduler position. Must have 7 years of experience with each of the following: designing and implementing secure CI/CD pipelines with various tool integrations; developing and maintaining security automation and orchestration; working with cloud providers AWS and Azure and cloud security; working with development/antifactory tools GitHub, JIRA, JFrog, SonarQube, Veracode and Azure DevOps; working with automation tools Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Ansible; working with containerization Docker and Kubernetes and container security; working with security principles and threat modeling risk assessment; working with cross-functional teams on development, operations, and security; collaborating with development teams to integrate security practices and develop and maintain security documentation and standards; leading and mentoring team; and driving cultural change and influencing organizational decisions. Must also have 3 years of experience with each of the following: working with at least one of the following programing languages C#, PowerShell Scripting, SQL or Python; and communicating security risks and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
