Application Solutions Architect [REMOTE]

Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect who is passionate about implementing solutions, problem solving, and collaboration. The role will focus on delivering innovative solutions within the applications space, with particular focus on enterprise standards, architecture frameworks, and solution design. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions to drive business growth. Responsibilities for this role include: • Create detailed designs and specifications for solutions, and work with cross-functional teams to assist in execution. • Ensure architecture designs are aligned with the Enterprise strategy and policies; • Work directly on implementations in the technical delivery role to deliver project success; • Develop and author Enterprise architectural principles, patterns, and standards; • Implement, manage and maintain architecture team work queues and communications site; • Assist in establishing future state applications architecture with a focus on AI and data strategy; • Establish organizational standards and templates related to Enterprise Architecture frameworks, including The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and Unified Architecture Framework; • Develop and maintain MBSE models using Cameo/MagicDraw and Teamwork Cloud. #LI-KK1Required Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, or Engineering from an accredited college/university; • Minimum 7+ years of experience architecting and delivering enterprise solutions across multiple domains (application, data, and technology); • Experience in implementing Enterprise Architecture Frameworks including TOGAF and/or UAF; • Experience in cloud transformation (SAAS, PAAS, IAAS) using Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure. • Strong communication and verbal presentation skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users; • Proven ability to author Enterprise-grade documents, diagrams, and presentations; • Diagramming & modeling expertise using Visio, SysML, Cameo/MagicDraw; • Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, DoDI); • Proficiency with integration implementation technologies such as APIs, JSON, XML, messaging, and data exchange formats (e.g., XML, JSON); • Proficiency with Agile methodology methods and tools, including Jira and/or ServiceNow; • Ability to adapt to changing requirements, technologies, and stakeholder needs. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Digital transformation experience in manufacturing, digital twin, or IoT disciplines; • Experience across enterprise application implementations such as Oracle EBS, PTC Windchill, and ServiceNow; • Familiarity with concepts of data ontology and data taxonomy; • Enterprise Architecture Framework certifications (TOGAF, UAF); • AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud certifications. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $106654 - $181311 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
