The Software Engineering Senior Advisor - Mobile Developer at Cigna is a technical leadership role within the Evernorth Consumer group, focusing on mobile software engineering. Responsibilities
Β Deliver business needs end-to-end from requirements to development into production.

Β Code for backend, middleware, and front-end applications through a hands-on engineering approach.

Β Map user stories to detailed technical specifications, automate test cases, triage bugs, and optimize infrastructure.

Β Follow mobile software engineering best practices with an automation-first approach and continuous improvement mindset.

Β Drive reuse, engage in peer code reviews, and foster innovation.
,
Β Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture direction and architectural standards.

Β Collaborate in a high-performing team environment, influencing and being influenced by others.
Requirements
Β At least 5 years of experience in mobile software engineering.

Β Strong experience with React, React Native, and JavaScript.
,
Β Experience with development in at least one modern native mobile OS language including Swift and Kotlin.
,
Β Experience with legacy native mobile OS languages including Objective-C and Java is a plus.
,
Β Experience building and using pipelines with mobile CI/CD tools such as Bitrise or Microsoft AppCenter is a huge plus.

Β Experience with migrations from native mobile to React Native mobile platforms is preferred.

Β Strong expertise with Git.
,
Β Experience with microservices and cloud native frameworks.
,
Β Experience creating and consuming REST APIs.

Β Proficient in self-testing of applications, unit testing, and use of mock frameworks, test-driven development (TDD).

Β Experience in building a software 'product' which will be transitioned to others for support and further evolution.
