Job Summary We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Apple Product Design Engineer to join our Product Design Validation (PDV) team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing innovative test and measurement systems to evaluate product performance and user experience. Your expertise will help inform product design decisions, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Design and develop instrumented test and measurement systems to evaluate product performance and user experience Apply engineering principles to assess design performance and identify areas for improvement Collect and analyze data using tools like Matlab, Python, Labview, Arduino, JMP, or similar software Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design, testing, and validation processes Develop and maintain relationships with product design teams, providing expertise and guidance to inform design decisions Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and methodologies in product design and testing Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, computer science, physics) Experience in the design or use of test and measurement systems Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Matlab, or Labview Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and laboratory tools Knowledge of sensor technologies, data acquisition systems, and signal processing techniques Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization tools Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Skills and Competencies Strong technical skills, with ability to learn and adapt quickly Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Passion for innovation, creativity, and continuous learning Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Apple, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
