Job title: DevOps Architect Company: Apple & Associates Job description: Seeking a DevOps Architect (HYBRID schedule) for an energy-related technology client located in Houston, TX. • Base Salary Range of $105k - $125k DOE plus 15% bonus opportunity and benefits • 2 days per week in office / 3 days WFH This role will manage the Azure & Kubernetes infrastructure. The company has built a data platform that allows integration of multiple systems and ability to quickly analyze with ML and other tools and create actionable insights for our customers. Platform is built using modern best of breed technology such as TypeScript, React, Chakra UI on the front-end. Backends run as Docker images on Kubernetes with NodeJS and .NET Core. Responsibilities: • Managing Kubernetes (AKS), deploying new pods and updates • Ensuring organizational security (network, MDM) • Managing infrastructure as code • Collaborating with the team to debug infrastructure and performance issues • Monitoring performance and uptime • Continuously improve infrastructure and testing environments Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree Preferred and 5 years' experience managing a SaaS platform • Kubernetes or similar orchestration environment (Mesos, EBS, etc) • Familiarity with network concepts (subnets, VNETs, VPN, firewalls etc) • Managing Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure or GCP) • Git experience • Ticketing Systems (Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub etc) Expected salary: $105000 - 125000 per year Location: Houston, TX Apply for the job now!
