Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Senior Android Engineer for a 4-month contract assignment with a dynamic and high-impact mobile engineering team. This role focuses on modernizing a major Rider Android app that serves millions of users, driving architectural transformation and product quality in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Location: Remote (Must be based in the San Francisco area)
Pay: $111/hour (W2 only)
Duration: 4-Month Contract

What You’ll Do:
• Partner closely with senior and staff Android engineers to accelerate the adoption of unidirectional architecture
• Ramp up quickly on app context, architecture, and product goals to begin contributing immediately
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable code aligned with performance and design standards
• Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and contribute to team-wide improvements
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and product engineers to ensure a seamless development cycle
• Help identify blockers and assist teammates to maintain velocity and team cohesion
What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development
• Proven track record of working on and shipping large-scale Android applications
• Strong experience with Kotlin; Java is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with modern architectural patterns such as unidirectional data flow and reactive programming
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, unit testing, snapshot testing, and creating shared UI components
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
