Android Developer – Remote (LATAM)

Currently, we are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team. What You’ll Be Doing: Develop and maintain Android native apps. Ensure consistent and precise data flow by setting up robust data collection protocols. Create user-friendly interfaces that clearly reflect insights from the collected data. Work closely with hardware teams to fine-tune how the app and devices communicate. Diagnose and solve connectivity issues to enhance performance and reliability. Engage in product refinement by incorporating user input and data-driven insights. Help expand and enhance app functionality over time. What We’re Looking for: At least 3 years of hands-on experience building Android apps professionally. Deep understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and adaptation across devices and screen sizes. Skilled in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development Understanding of RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services. Familiarity with offline storage, threading, and performance optimization Experience with hardware-software integration projects Knowledge of Android’s lifecycle and design patterns. English proficiency at B2 level or above. Nice to have: Knowledge of data visualization techniques for mobile interfaces. Understanding of security best practices for handling sensitive data.
