Overview

The Analytics Strategist supports the Business Analytics & Data Operations function with a primary focus on data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational excellence. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data resilience across platforms, validating campaign tracking, and maintaining integrity throughout the data lifecycle.

Reporting to the Analytics Manager, the Strategist will work closely with Digital, Account, and offshore data teams to monitor data health, troubleshoot discrepancies, and deliver accurate reporting. This position emphasizes precision, process discipline, and proactive QA over strategic ownership.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, technically curious, and motivated to build expertise in data operations and analytics within an agency environment.

Responsibilities

Data Integrity, QA & Resilience

Perform rigorous QA on campaign data across platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
β€’ Validate tracking implementation, taxonomy adherence, and naming convention consistency.
β€’ Monitor data ingestion pipelines and identify discrepancies or anomalies.
β€’ Reconcile data across platforms (ad servers, media platforms, analytics tools, internal systems).
β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies in collaboration with technical and media teams.
β€’ Support the development and maintenance of data validation frameworks and QA checklists.
β€’ Document recurring issues and contribute to process improvements that enhance data resilience.
β€’ Assist in root cause analysis for reporting discrepancies or tracking errors.
β€’ Ensure reporting outputs align with source-of-truth data.

Reporting & Dashboard Execution

Build, update, and maintain dashboards under the direction of the Analytics Manager.
β€’ Execute recurring and ad hoc reporting with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
β€’ Perform pre- and post-delivery QA on all reports before distribution.
β€’ Organize and validate campaign data, build clear visuals, and provide structured analysis to support reporting and insight development
β€’ Support reporting automation efforts to reduce manual errors and improve efficiency.

Data Operations Support

Support data ingestion, transformation, and workflow monitoring processes.
β€’ Ensure campaign tracking parameters are correctly implemented prior to launch.
β€’ Monitor campaign data health throughout the campaign lifecycle.
β€’ Maintain documentation for data processes, taxonomies, and governance standards.
β€’ Escalate systemic data issues to the Analytics Manager with recommended next steps.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Digital Media teams to confirm accurate campaign setup and tracking.
β€’ Work with Account teams to clarify reporting requirements and timelines.
β€’ Coordinate with offshore or technical teams to resolve data pipeline issues.
β€’ Support performance review meetings by providing validated reporting and data explanations.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
β€’ Foundational understanding of digital media metrics and campaign tracking.
β€’ Experience working with dashboards, preferred experience in Datorama
β€’ Comfort working with large datasets and performing reconciliation across multiple sources.
β€’ Understanding of campaign tracking parameters (UTMs, tagging, platform naming conventions).
β€’ Ability to identify anomalies and investigate root causes.
β€’ Strong organizational and documentation skills.
β€’ Clear written and verbal communication skills.
β€’ Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$65,000 - $80,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
