We're currently seeking a highly motivated and analytically minded professional to support our paid media analytics capability. This role offers the unique opportunity to surface data-driven strategic opportunities for our Executive Leadership team while focusing on optimizing our paid media spend on a global scale. You'll work directly with marketing teams to identify improvements in campaign efficiency and develop comprehensive reporting and analyses that drive informed decision-making.

Position Overview

As an Analytics Manager at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting key decision-making processes by creating and communicating tailored reporting and analyses that inform our paid media strategy. You will be responsible for developing KPIs and scorecards to track progress and performance, ensuring that our organization maintains a relentless focus on results and ROI.

This position requires someone who is comfortable working with ambiguity, possesses strong critical thinking abilities, and can effectively translate complex data into meaningful business insights. You'll be collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, and Data Product groups to address business challenges and track marketing and product performance using a data-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities


Analytics & Reporting: Deliver comprehensive reporting and insights in the area of paid media, ensuring stakeholders have timely access to actionable intelligence that informs strategic decisions.
BI Development: Plan, build, and lead the development of analysis, business intelligence, and data science initiatives aimed at enhancing measurable paid media outcomes and improving marketing efficiencies.
Collaboration: Work closely with paid media data science teams and marketing departments to implement sophisticated media mix models that optimize campaign performance.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Lead spontaneous analysis through database querying, followed by rapid interpretation of results and the definition and communication of recommendations that drive immediate action.
Cross-functional Partnership: Serve as a trusted partner with Marketing, Finance, and Data Product teams to tackle complex business challenges and track marketing and product performance metrics.
Technical Reporting: Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports that meet business requirements.
Problem Identification: Analyze data to identify business issues and conduct deep dives to perform root cause analysis, providing comprehensive findings and recommendations.
Insight Generation: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to utilize data from various sources, including market research and industry partners, to address complex business challenges and deliver meaningful insights.
Customer Insights: Conceptualize and execute analysis projects that generate insights on customer behavior and customer needs, supporting the ongoing development and improvement of our value proposition.


Essential Qualifications


Experience: Demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting within an e-commerce environment or related field.
Technical Skills: Advanced SQL experience with the ability to write complex queries and manipulate large datasets efficiently.
Visualization Expertise: Advanced proficiency in at least one industry-leading analytics and statistics visualization tool (such as Tableau, QuickSight, or PowerBI).
Excel Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a proven track record of creating complex models, pivot tables, and analytical dashboards.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or another related field.

Additional Programming: Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or C#, or statistical programming languages like R or SAS.
Analytics Platforms: Knowledge of Adobe Analytics or similar digital analytics platforms.
