WEC Energy Group seeks Engineering Interns for summer and year-round roles, offering hands-on experience in designing safe, cost-effective energy systems while working alongside experienced professionals. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Support Market Strategist staff on projects while developing technical, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills • Develop functional, process, and system documentation • Implement workflow improvements • Create project tracking tools • Gain exposure to Generator Interconnection Process within the Eastern Interconnection, capacity planning and auction processes, and regulatory processes About You The company is looking for: • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED • Minimum GPA of 2.8 • Knowledge of the energy market • Fast learner with strong curiosity and desire to learn • Ability to research independently, analyze data, and draw conclusions • Comfort navigating ambiguity Compensation & Benefits • Hourly rate starting at $22.00, with a maximum of $26.24 • Paid company holidays • Flexible hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time in Milwaukee office Training & Development Opportunity to work with experienced functional teams and develop skills in technical expertise, communication, and project management.
