Analyst, Trade Settlements

Performance Trust Capital Partners is an institutional fixed income broker/dealer headquartered in Chicago. They are seeking an Analyst for their Trade Operations Settlements group to manage trade settlements and ensure accurate processing in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage multiple customer and business line inquiries, within a fast-paced, challenging environment Liaise with both internal and external counterparties, to ensure timely settlement and efficient resolution of identified settlement breaks Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced and time-sensitive environment Monitor and action daily processes including but not limited to daily settlement fails, coordinating with clients to resolve cash breaks, manage post settlement factor/coupon trade adjustments, and support client inquiries related to trade activities of the firm Engage in general email support and reporting requirements aligned with the day-to-day, monthly and ad hoc business processes Ability to be proactive and solutions-oriented in day-to-day operations while working closely with the line of business to resolve issues Communicate effectively with team members to provide excellent service to our clients Holds themselves accountable and is passionate about delivering high quality work and servicing clients Build and maintain internal and external relationships Cross train with other areas within Clearing and Settlements Perform other related duties as required Skills Excellence in written and oral communication Possess a strong attention to detail Knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with financial markets and instruments 1-3 years' industry experience, ideally in middle office or back-office operations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (namely excel) License(s) Requirement: FINRA SIE and Series 7 licensed within 120 days of hire date Oriented toward optimization and efficiency in process Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship Bachelor's degree: Finance or Business preferred Some experience with Bloomberg preferred, not required Prior experience with Pershing NetX360 is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (administered through a national carrier such as Blue Cross Blue Shields ) Prescription Drug Plans Pre-Tax Flexible Spending Account (Health and Dependent Care) (FSA) Health Savings Account (HSA) Vacation/Personal Days + Holidays Financial & Income Protection Benefits PT Retirement Mission-Driven Employee Stock Ownership Plan Voluntary Life Insurance + Long-Term Disability Insurance Discounted Fitness Memberships (Free membership for Chicago office) Pre-Tax Commuter Benefits – Transit & Parking Mental Health support through company provided Employee Assistance Program Employee recognition programs (PT Rewards and Annual Awards) Company Overview Performance Trust Capital Partners is a financial services company that buys and sells securities and manages investment portfolios.
