Analyst, Sector-Based & Specialized Lending

The Analyst in Sector-Based & Specialized Lending will support the execution and origination of lending transactions across various sectors, focusing on Food & Agriculture and other specialized areas.ResponsibilitiesSupporting origination and execution efforts for lending transactions within Food & Agriculture and across other SSL sectorsParticipating in initial deal screening, business analysis, and credit assessment under guidance of senior team membersAssisting in due diligence processes, including analysis of borrower financials, business models, and industry dynamicsPreparing and contributing to internal credit approval materials, including credit applications and risk memosBuilding, reviewing, and updating financial models, including transaction cash flow models, return analyses, and internal risk rating toolsReviewing financing documentation and supporting the analysis of key commercial terms in loan and related agreementsCoordinating with internal stakeholders such as Risk, Legal, Loan Operations, Treasury, and Finance to support transaction execution and closingsSupporting ongoing portfolio monitoring activities, including covenant compliance, credit reviews, and ad‑hoc analysesStaying current on internal policies, procedures, and risk frameworks to ensure transactions are executed in line with ING standardsSkills1+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, lending, credit analysis, investment banking, or a related fieldStrong financial and credit analysis skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and cash‑flow‑based lendingFinancial modeling experience (Excel), including sensitivity analysis and scenario modelingStrong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlinesCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across sectors and teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)BenefitsComprehensive health benefitsGenerous 401k savings planCompetitive PTOAdoption, surrogacy, and fertility servicesStudent debt assistanceSubsidies for expenses associated with commuting and fitnessCompany OverviewING Americas offers a full array of wholesale financial products, such as commercial lending, financial markets and advisory products and services in the U.S. It was founded in undefined, and is headquartered in New York, US, with a workforce of 501-1000 employees.
