Our client is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst specializing in the technology sector to join their team remotely from the NYC area. The role involves executing sell-side M&A transactions for tech companies valued between $100M to $1B, with a focus on SaaS and tech firms. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support M&A transactions. • Prepare and deliver presentations, pitch books, and other marketing materials. • Perform industry and company research to identify potential acquisition targets. • Assist in the due diligence process, including data room management and coordination with clients and other advisors. • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders. • Monitor and analyze market trends and developments in the technology sector. • Support senior bankers in deal execution and client management. Requirements: • 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, preferably with a focus on technology. • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. • Familiarity with SaaS business models and the technology sector. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
