The Difference You Make: The Analyst, Operational Risk administers defined procedures and report preparation for the department, ensures conformance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, analyzes less complex risk management data, and makes recommendations based on findings. • Prepares appropriate review memorandum summarizing liabilities and recommends follow-up evaluations. • Informs employees on risk policies and guidelines to build a risk aware culture and practice across the organization. • Provides procedural guidance and support to junior analysts in the various functions of the department, and in the methods of tools of analysis. • Researches a wide variety of topics and issues including emerging risks and trends and risk management best practices; summarizes and communicates findings with team. • Interprets and applies procedures, ensures analysis is documented and that records are maintained. • Assists senior level staff and management as requested. • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business, Finance, Management, or equivalent field. - Required. • 0+ Years Risk Management/ Risk MIS - Required. • Demonstrated knowledge of basic risk principles, concepts and policies. • Proficient MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook) skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. • Ability to summarize, document, and communicate information in a clear and concise manner. • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • Ability to interpret, analyze and apply data/information. • Ability to stay abreast of industry best practices, procedures, and techniques. • Ability to build and foster internal relationships. • Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and instructions of management. • Ability to change direction as project demand dictates. What Else You Need To Know: The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
