Analyst Investment Credit Research
Under moderate supervision, analyzes Investment Grade and High Yield companies and their bond securities in a sector-specific investments portfolio. Under moderate supervision, performs individual credit reviews, security-level and industry-level relative value analysis, and portfolio-level monitoring and reporting for an assigned sector-specific investments portfolio.
This is a hybrid role in the DTC office.
What you will do:
ā¢ Researches and recommends corporate credits and both new issue and secondary market IG and HY corporate bonds and leveraged loans, all in support of Empowers General Account, Separate Account and CLO investment programs.
ā¢ Presents new investment proposals to the Head of Corporate Bond Research and other senior managers.
ā¢ Completes all internal credit approval processes and documentation needs in a timely and efficient manner.
ā¢ Develops expertise in assigned industries and manages an existing portfolio of corporate bond investments.
ā¢ Under supervision, manages credit restructuring situations and develops loss mitigation strategies.
ā¢ May occasionally participate in inter-departmental projects related to investments and/or company acquisitions.
