What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor inbound and outbound encounter submissions and take action to remediate errors
- Review submission results, analyze pend and rejection inventory, and collaborate with other areas for resolution
- Own and maintain encounter submission criteria and documentation of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Conduct root cause analysis of claims and encounters data to develop actionable recommendations
- Prepare materials and information for Monthly Governance and Operations Reviews
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience in billing, claims, encounters, and data analysis
- Knowledge of basic data analysis techniques
- Proficient in running basic SQL queries
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Managed care experience
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification
