Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for assisting Relationship Managers of Japanese Corporate Banking Division to prepare credit related applications and reports and resolving credit processes or credit operational issues, as well as preparation of customer’s documentation and reports accurately and timely to identify and mitigate credit risks and to monitor credit risks of the assigned credit customers.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Work in partnership with colleagues across departments of the Branch or primary offices to deliver an integrated service for our customers.
• Work in partnership with credit middle departments of the Branch to ensure credit control and procedures is in line with the Branch guidelines and policies.
• Contact or visit customers or primary offices in charge of parent company of customers to obtain necessary information for purpose of preparation of credit related applications and reports to identify and mitigate credit risks and monitor credit risks of customers in accordance with internal credit policies and guidelines and credit control procedures.
• Cooperate with Credit Examiners and Internal or External Audit to support inspections on credit portfolio and credit risk management.
• Support Credit Team Leader in implementation and delivery of improvement initiatives for the department according to the predetermined schedule.
• Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, internal rules and procedures, relevant laws and regulations.
• Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines.

Job Requirements
• Degree holder with minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
• Excellent organisation and analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of accounting and credit analysis.
• Good knowledge of industries and economic environment in the region.
