Analyst and Trainer
We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile professional to join our team in a combined role of Analyst and Trainer.The ideal candidate will play a key role across the project lifecycle—from requirements gathering and testing to end-user training and adoption support.This is a remote (US only) position supporting an IT investment and portfolio management initiative.This individual will support a high-impact project leveraging:ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)Proven Optics Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) ApplicationProven Optics Technology Business Management (TBM) Cost Modeling ApplicationKey Responsibilities:As an Analyst:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirementsDevelop process documentation, user stories, and business workflowsSupport configuration decisions aligned with best practices in IT portfolio and financial managementAs a Tester:Develop and execute test plans and test case scenariosValidate system functionality, reports, and dashboardsIdentify and track defects, and support remediation effortsAs a Trainer:Design and deliver training materials, including user guides, video walkthroughs, and SOPsFacilitate virtual and live training sessions for end-users and stakeholdersProvide ongoing user support and promote platform adoptionRequired Skills:U.S. Citizenship OR Permanent ResidentActive Public Trust or higher clearance3+ years of experience as an Analyst, Tester, TrainerExperience documenting functional and technical requirements into User Stories and Expected ResultsExperience developing Test Plans, test cases, and tracking issuesDemonstrated ability to test systems against documented requirementsDesign and deliver training materials, including user guides, video walkthroughs, and SOPsFacilitate virtual training sessions for end-users and stakeholdersExtremely well-developed organizational, time management, and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical informationThis position allows you to work remotely from within the United States only.Ability to work 8 AM to 5 PM ESTAbility to work independently in a remote team environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environmentHighly Desired Skills:Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)Familiarity with Proven Optics CPIC or TBM applicationsFamiliarity with Agile or SAFe delivery methodologiesExperience using ServiceNow Dev/QA/Test environmentsServiceNow certificationsStrong understanding of IT portfolio management, capital planning, or IT financial managementBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and federal holidaysFlexible remote work environmentOriginally posted on Himalayas
