What you will be doing

• Partner with business unit leadership in the development of the business strategy and plan, develop people strategies, workforce plans and support their implementation
• Advise senior leaders on strategies to grow talent and develop technical capability pipelines for the business
• Lead the design and implementation of structures that improve individual and organizational performance (including mergers and acquisitions)
• Drive change through the development and implementation of people strategies that enable the organization to thrive
• Provide coaching to business leaders to deliver on their people goals
• Lead the implementation of standardized HR processes for the assigned business unit
• Manage highly complex associate relations issues that may have significant business impact
• Participate in the selection of candidates for senior positions
• Partner with COEs to: drive performance management, learning and development, succession planning and key HR processes development
• Ensure compensation structures reward performance
• Ensure successful resolution of Labor Relations issues
• Lead change management planning and activities
• Participate in the execution of Labor Relations strategies and the resolution of complex Labor Relations issues – under the leadership of Associate Relations COE
• Manage HR Partner team

What your background should look like
• Requires broad training in fields which may include business administration, sales, marketing, or similar vocations obtained through completion of a four year bachelor’s degree program
• Normally requires a minimum of ten (10) years related and progressively responsible experience
• Experience supporting multiple business units and/or countries is preferred
• Solid understanding of human resource management principles
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Strong leadership skills
• Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business issues, apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions, and the ability to design programs to address and respond to these challenges
• Ability to resolve associate issues effectively and efficiently
• Excellent consultative and facilitation skills
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation skills
