Americas Senior Solution Architect/Engineer/ Remote ( NYC, NY / Brooklyn,NY)6 months contract
Avamar, Backup and Recovery, PM experience
Must be very strong on Avamar.
The proximity requirement is now 4 hours within NYC – to be onsite in case of a Cyber Attack – otherwise work is remote.
Scope Details
Remote - However please Note: in the event of a cyber attack the resident must go onsite in NY, NY to assist customer.
Must have Skills: Avamar, Backup and Recovery
Project Management experience/proactive/excellent organizational skills
Leadership/ability to manage a team and Organization Management (tracking and reporting and best practices)
Nice to have: CyberSense, Cyber Recovery
Important to note - – we will train the right resource. We will need the candidate to be open and willing to take this training as soon as possible if selected.
Project Tasks:
Lead for vault operations – end user onboarded with access to the vault
Primary lead in remediation and recovery activities in the even of a cyber attack
Monitoring and alerting
Working with customer's Infosec team on infection alerts
System patches and updates
The following list details the activities that can be performed but not limited to by DT Services.
Vault Patch Management and associated Vault components (As it relates to Dell Supported Components)
Vault Capacity/Storage Management
Management of Cyber Recovery Software
Monitor and Manage CyberSense (forward alerts)
Work with the End-User to execute restore from vault to production
DT Services will assist in production data restore, End-User is responsible for providing clean Production infrastructure
Execute In-Vault and reverse restores at the direction of MTA utilizing existing Dell provided Runbooks
Update Dell provided Runbooks as required
Monthly Status Reports (examples of current reports will be provided)
Create/manage 24/7 operational team schedule example below
