Key Responsibilities Collaborate with utility teams to outline, capture, and transform commercial enterprise needs into actionable insights Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Voice of the Purchaser (VoC) methods and leverage them to inform data-driven decision-making Design and build robust records model architecture to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions Utilize big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python Provide recommendations to enhance competencies and drive efficiency in computing programs using massive data ecosystems Conduct consumer tale evaluation and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and testing and builds automation tools Proactively identify and automate manual obligations to improve quality and efficiency Work closely with partners from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, enhance, and test data for various use cases as part of the VoC end-to-end technique Essential Qualifications At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in development using Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, Shell scripting languages, and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven tasks Strong experience with Agile methodologies of delivery, with small increments of a product introduced at regular intervals to business groups Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with dating managers/product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables Prior experience in customer service or data entry roles preferred Excellent typing speed and accuracy Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using computer applications and navigating online systems Preferred Qualifications Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python Familiarity with data modeling and data architecture Experience with automation tools and testing frameworks Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and platforms Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At American Express, we are committed to the growth and development of our colleagues.
