### Job Description:
As a Flight Attendant with American Airlines, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers while maintaining professionalism and poise at 35,000 feet. You’ll be part of a crew that considers the cabin their office and sky their home, with destinations that span the globe.
### Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight.
– Greet passengers warmly, assist with seating, and provide an exceptional boarding experience.
– Lead passengers in emergency preparedness and ensure all individuals comply with safety regulations.
– Serve beverages, meals, and snacks, and sell onboard products.
– Manage passenger requests, resolve conflicts, and handle in-flight emergencies calmly and efficiently.
– Administer first aid when needed.
– Perform post-flight duties, including passenger disembarkation, report preparation, and follow-up duties as necessary.
### Requirements:
– Minimum age of 21 years.
– High school diploma, GED or equivalent; some college preferred.
– Ability to relocate to any of our base locations.
– Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
– Possession a valid passport or foreign travel documents that allow unrestricted exit/entry to various destinations.
– Strong swimming skills.
– Pass rigorous background and reference checks, and mandatory drug testing.
– Customer service experience is highly desirable.
– Multilingual candidates are encouraged.
