**Description:**
As an American Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be an ambassador of our brand and a cornerstone of our customer service experience. This position involves extensive interaction with diverse groups of people, managing in-flight services and safety procedures, and adapting to varying cultural norms and expectations across global destinations.
**Responsibilities:**
– Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our passengers.
– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks and monitor cabin during flight.
– Provide clear and effective communication during regular operations and emergencies.
– Deliver high-quality customer service and respond to passenger inquiries with professionalism.
– Manage in-flight services including meals, beverages, and duty-free sales.
– Attend and successfully complete mandatory training programs.
– Represent American Airlines professionally in all interactions.
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 21 years.
– High school diploma or GED equivalent; higher education is advantageous.
– Ability to live and work legally in the United States.
– Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a strong advantage.
– Be able to pass a rigorous medical and background check.
– Possess a valid passport or be willing to obtain one.
– Flexibility to work varied hours and adhere to a dynamic flight schedule.
– Capability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
– Physically fit to meet the demands of the job including handling luggage and standing for long periods.
