**Description:**
Join a team known for its industry-leading service as you represent American Airlines to passengers worldwide. As a Flight Attendant, you’ll ensure that safety protocols are met, provide comfort, care, and the highest quality of service to passengers. You’ll play an essential role during pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight while operating under FAA regulations and American Airlines policies.
**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the cabin is prepared for flight.
– Greet passengers warmly and assist with boarding by providing direct support and guidance.
– Perform safety demonstrations and ensure all passengers comply with security regulations.
– Attend to passengers’ needs, including meals, beverages, and any other necessary accommodations.
– Handle any in-flight emergencies with composure and in accordance with safety protocols.
– Ensure a clean and tidy cabin environment throughout the flight.
– Deliver exceptional customer service that enhances the American Airlines brand.
**Requirements:**
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Minimum age of 21 years.
– Ability to relocate as required and flexibility with scheduling.
– Obtain a valid passport and any necessary visas.
– Capacity to pass a background check and drug screening.
– Height must be between 5’2″ and 6’0″ without shoes due to cabin safety requirements.
– Proficiency in a second language is preferred but not required.
– Articulate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
**Educational Qualifications:**
– High school diploma or GED required.
– Further certifications or training in hospitality or customer service would be advantageous.
**Experience:**
– Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is highly appreciated but not mandatory.
– New entrants must complete a series of training provided by American Airlines.
