**Salary**: $17.50 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

**DESCRIPTION**
American Airlines is seeking motivated and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Cabin Crew Assistants. This role is essential in providing an exemplary service experience aboard our flights while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers. Our Cabin Crew Assistants are the face of American Airlines and ambassadors of our brand, both in the air and on the ground.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
– Assist passengers with boarding, offering special assistance where needed.
– Demonstrate safety procedures and equipment use to passengers.
– Address passengers’ questions about flights, travel routes, and services.
– Offer and serve refreshments and meals.
– Handle in-flight sales and transactions.
– Ensure the cabin is clean and tidy before, during, and after the flight.
– Assist the cabin crew in handling emergencies and provide guidance to passengers.
– Collaborate with the cockpit crew and ground staff to ensure a smooth operation.
– Provide special care for passengers with disabilities, young travelers, and the elderly.
**REQUIREMENTS**
– Minimum age of 18 years.
– High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require further qualifications.
– Ability to pass a rigorous background check and drug screening.
– Physical ability to reach overhead bins, stand for 4-8 hours, and handle emergency situations efficiently.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Adaptability to varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnight flights.
– Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
**EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**
– High school diploma or GED required.
– Further certification in hospitality or related fields preferred but not mandatory.
**EXPERIENCE**
– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation is advantageous but not required as paid training is provided.
