**Job Description:**
As a Cabin Crew Assistant at American Airlines, you will work closely with experienced flight attendants and crew to prepare and maintain cabin operations before, during, and after flights. Your role is pivotal in creating a comfortable, safe, and pleasant flying experience for our passengers.
**Responsibilities:**
– Assist in the preparation of the aircraft cabin for departure
– Help ensure safety compliance throughout the cabin
– Provide refreshments and meals to passengers
– Assist passengers with special needs, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey
– Participate in pre-flight briefings and comply with all flight instructions
– Manage inventory of on-board supplies
– Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cabin before and after flights
– Assist in managing in-flight emergencies
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 18 years
– High School diploma or equivalent
– Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to push, pull, bend and reach in confined spaces
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Must be able to obtain a valid passport and any necessary visas
– Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours
– Must live within 75 miles of the base location or be willing to relocate
**Educational Qualifications:**
– High School Diploma or GED required.
– Further certifications or training in customer service, hospitality, or related fields preferred but not mandatory.
