Job Description:
As an Amazon Logistics Package Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering packages to Amazon customers in a timely and professional manner. You will be responsible for operating a delivery vehicle, adhering to safety procedures, and ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient service.
Responsibilities:
– Load and unload packages into the delivery vehicle.
– Deliver packages to customers within a set delivery window, ensuring all packages are delivered on time.
– Navigate various routes throughout the delivery area, making use of GPS and other navigation tools.
– Follow Amazon’s operational policies and procedures, including those for safety and vehicle operation.
Requirements:
– Valid drivers license.
– Excellent driving record.
– Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts.
– Excellent customer service skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
– Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Educational Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not necessary as Amazon provides comprehensive paid training.
