Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, pick, and stow customer orders: Process returns and prepare for delivery.
Assist customers: Address customer questions and solve problems.
Maintain a clean workspace: Ensure the workspace is safe and organized.
Manage Locker+ location: Handle responsibilities including opening and closing the site.
Use technology: Sort, scan, and prepare orders using smartphones and handheld devices.
Receive truck deliveries: Assist in unloading and organizing incoming packages.
Physical Requirements
Lifting: Perform physical labor including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Standing and walking: Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Moving items: Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items around.
Stairs: Go up and down stairs (where applicable).
Availability: Work part-time between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules varying week to week.
Work Environment
Safety: Safe working conditions are a priority.
Surroundings: Work behind a counter in various locations such as Whole Foods Market, partner retailers, or warehouse lobbies.
Activity: Be on your feet for most of your shift, helping customers and sorting packages.
Temperature: Work in climate-controlled environments.
Noise level: Experience minimal noise, similar to a grocery store.
Dress code: Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes; protective safety footwear is required in select units. Amazon provides a $110 Zappos gift code for shoe purchase.
