Amazon Area Manager 2026 – Southern California (Recent and Upcoming Graduates) Locations: Victorville, Ontario, Moreno Valley, Eastvale, Rialto, San Bernardino, Oxnard, Beaumont, San Diego, CA Pay: $63,600 – $82,700 per year | Full-Time Department: Fulfillment & Operations Management Job Overview: Amazon is seeking customer-focused leaders to join our Operations team as Area Managers in Southern California. This is a full-time, entry-level, on-site position within one of Amazon’s fulfilment centres, sort centres, or delivery stations. As an Area Manager, you’ll be on the production floor motivating, mentoring, and developing a team of 50–100 Amazon Associates. You’ll lead in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. Amazon provides extensive training and development programs to prepare you for success as a people manager. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, support, and motivate a team of 50–100 hourly Amazon Associates. • Mentor and develop employees to meet safety, quality, and performance goals. • Work independently in an autonomous environment. • Manage shift schedules that may include nights, weekends, or holidays. • Oversee truck deliveries, package handling, and PIT equipment operation (site-dependent). • Maintain a safe, productive, and customer-focused environment. Basic Qualifications: • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 – August 2026. • Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours. • Willingness to lift to 49 lbs, bend, squat, climb stairs, and work in variable conditions. • Work authorisation in the U.S. (no sponsorship available). Preferred Qualifications: • Strong communication and leadership skills. • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or related field. • Customer service and interpersonal experience.
