We are looking for an Aluminum TIG welder who will support the manufacturing and fabrication process of Sportsman Boats with emphasis on aluminum.
What you'll do:
? Build t-tops, rod holders, leaning posts, etc. meeting high quality standards and daily production goals
? Lay out, measure, and align metal work pieces prior to welding
? Assess welds to ensure they are clean, free of error and in accordance with relevant welding codes
? Read and interpret weld codes and blueprints
? Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to address issues
? Work as a team
To be considered you must have:
? Aluminum tig welder knowledge and experience
? Strong fabrication skills
? Ability to assess metal structures to identify and initiate repair of damaged welds
? Ability to follow instructions
? Ability to use small tools, operating air/hand tools, welders, grinders and buffing machines
? Close tolerance when measuring; strong attention to detail
? Ability to meet deadlines
? Ability to work as a team member
? Ability to comply with safety guidelines
? Ability to work in fast-paced, ever changing environment
? Ability to complete a weld test during our onsite interview
? High School Diploma or GED required
