API Security Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the implementation and integration of API security platforms, primarily focusing on Akamai and Noname Security. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Remote Engine configuration and integration, API traffic analysis, and a strong background in Linux, Kubernetes, Azure, VMware, and network security. Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation and integration of API security platforms, including Akamai and Noname Security. Configure and manage Remote Engine in Noname to analyze API traffic locally and securely. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of API security tools with existing infrastructure. Design and implement secure API gateways and traffic monitoring solutions. Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and configuration tasks. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API security, traffic analysis, and platform integration. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices across cloud and on-prem environments. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in API security, integration, and infrastructure management. Hands-on experience with Akamai and Noname Security, especially with Remote Engine setup and traffic analysis. Strong knowledge of Linux systems, virtualization, and containerization technologies. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration tools. Proficiency in Azure and VMware environments. Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security protocols. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
