Responsibilities:Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst Intern to support our aircraft maintenance operations through on-site performance evaluations. In this role, the intern will travel regularly to various maintenance bases across our network to observe and assess the performance of multiple aircraft technicians during overnight shifts. The primary objective is to collect, analyze, and synthesize operational data to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering quantitative and qualitative performance metrics, identifying trends, and summarizing findings in clear, concise reports and dashboards. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to work independently in dynamic, time-sensitive environments.Job Responsibilities

Travel to aircraft maintenance bases on a scheduled basis, primarily during overnight shifts.
Conduct real-time evaluations of technician workflows, adherence to procedures, and overall performance metrics.
Compile and organize data using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
Develop reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings and support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with base leadership and frontline staff to ensure accurate data collection and context.
Identify potential areas for operational improvement and efficiency gains.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Position Specifics:QualificationsRequired

High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, etc.).
Knowledge of FAA regulations.
Ability to speak/read/write in English.
If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Aeronautical, Quantitative or Business Discipline or Engineering or Engineering Technology.
Certification in Project Management, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), AME/SME/Shingo Lean Bronze/Silver, or other Lean certification.
Tableau and/or Microsoft Power Platform development.
Additional InformationSupervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position.Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Assistant Director of Maintenance Engineering Technology Solutions.Authorities: None.Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
