They are seeking Air Traffic Control Radar Systems Engineers to support the design and implementation of radar systems, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesSystem engineers for site design are responsible for the comprehensive planning, development, and implementation of new radar installation projects, ensuring alignment with technical, regulatory, and operational requirementsSystem engineers for site design in radar systems are responsible for the comprehensive planning, development, and implementation of radar equipment installations, ensuring optimal performance and integration within their operational environmentSystem Engineers are involved in the entire lifecycle of newly installed radar systems, from initial concept through to in-service support, ensuring that the site design meets technical, operational, and safety standardsPrepare a System Level Implementation Plan (SLIP) for government approval activities to include Site Surveys, Site Design, Facility Adaptation (Site Preparations), Installation Optimization and checkout, acceptance testing, and Equipment CutoverPrepare a Site-Specific Implementation Plan (SSIP) based on a Generic Site Implementation Plan (GSIP), including a complete set of drawings, specifications, plans, and designs for construction, site preparation, installation, optimization, testing, legacy equipment removal, and dispositionEnsure SSIP includes all electrical, mechanical, test equipment, and physical installation aspects for new equipment installation solutions, including interfacing with government-specified demarcation pointsSkillsBackground in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related field, typically supported by a BSEE or MSEE degreeExperience in radar system design, testing, and integrationKnowledge of electronics, radar systems, and troubleshooting, typically gained through formal education or specialized technical trainingProficiency with diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and signal generatorsAbility to analyze facility drawings for accuracy and provide red-line changes where appropriateKnowledge of Microsoft Office tools for documentation and high-level reportingAbility to meet background investigation requirements associated with federal contract workDemonstrated foundational experience or training in radar systems, electronics, or systems engineering for Junior Systems EngineerMinimum of six (6) years of experience in radar signal processing, digital and analog circuits, microprocessors, and antenna performance for primary and secondary radar systems for Mid-Level Systems EngineerMinimum of twelve (12) years of experience in radar signal processing, digital and analog circuits, microprocessors, and antenna performance for primary and secondary radar systems for Senior-Level Systems EngineerAbility to use diagnostic tools and softwareUnderstanding of structural components, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems, equipment conditions, or network configurationBenefitsMatching 401KComprehensive medical, dental, and vision plansGenerous PTOCompany OverviewCrown Innovations, Inc. is shaping the future of air transportation with concept development, design and deployment of systems and aircraft.
