AI/Open-Source IP Analyst

In this role, you will: • Review open-source components for license compliance and adherence to organizational Open-Source Policy. • Evaluate AI tools and technologies to ensure alignment with internal AI governance requirements. • Educate engineering teams and contractors on AI and open-source concepts, policies, and best practices. • Implement and monitor processes that support intellectual-property management and verify staff compliance. • Collaborate with product teams to execute open-source strategies and promote responsible AI adoption. • Review and approve open-source contributions to the broader open-source community. • Coordinate governance activities across cross-functional teams, including engineering, legal, marketing, and sales. • Support customer software-licensing negotiations, particularly regarding open-source usage. • US or Canadian Citizenship • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • High integrity and a strong work ethic. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Ability to work independently and proactively in a service-oriented environment • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with open-source licensing, AI governance, and intellectual property concepts • Hands-on programming experience or technical understanding of software development High Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
