This role bridges business strategy, technology, and change management by identifying high-impact AI opportunities, guiding cross-functional implementation, and ensuring responsible and scalable deployment of AI solutions. The AI Transformation Manager partners with business leaders, data teams, and technology stakeholders to embed AI capabilities into core processes and enable a culture of data-driven decision-making Key ResponsibilitiesAI Strategy & RoadmapIdentify and prioritize AI use cases aligned with strategy and measurable business outcomesDevelop and maintain an AI transformation roadmap across business unitsEvaluate emerging AI technologies and trends to inform strategic initiativesProgram LeadershipLead end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives from concept to deploymentCoordinate cross-functional teams including data, engineering, IT and business stakeholdersPartner with data governance to establish frameworks for AI initiatives, including ethical AI and risk managementBusiness IntegrationTranslate business problems into AI-enabled solutionsPartner with business initiative leads to re-design processes that incorporate AI capabilitiesEnsure AI solutions deliver measurable ROI and operational improvementsChange Management & AdoptionAssist in driving organizational change to support AI adoptionDevelop communication, training, and enablement strategies to build AI literacyPromote responsible and effective use of AI tools across the organizationPerformance MeasurementDefine KPIs and success metrics for AI initiativesMonitor performance and continuously optimize AI-driven processesReport progress, impact, and insights to executive leadershipGovernance & Responsible AIEnsure AI initiatives comply with regulatory, ethical, and organizational standardsCollaborate with legal, compliance, and security teams on AI risk managementEstablish frameworks for model governance, transparency, and data stewardshipThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required.  Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field7+ years of experience in technology, data, analytics, digital transformation, or consulting roles3+ years leading data, AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics initiativesDemonstrated experience managing cross-functional transformation or technology implementation programsExperience working with data science, engineering, and business teams to deploy AI solutionsSkills & CompetenciesStructured Problem Solving & Analytics SkillsAbility to navigate ambiguous problem contexts and identify relevant solutions through a structured processAbility to identify high-value opportunities for AI-driven innovationComfortable working in ambiguous and rapidly evolving technology environmentsTechnical UnderstandingWorking knowledge of AI/ML concepts, generative AI, data platforms, and analytics toolsUnderstanding of model lifecycle management and data governanceFamiliarity with AI platforms and cloud ecosystemsStrategic & Business SkillsStrong strategic thinking and business acumenAbility to translate business challenges into AI opportunitiesExperience developing transformation roadmaps and business casesStakeholder Management & CommunicationExcellent communication and storytelling skillsAbility to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignmentExperience building AI literacy and adoption within non-technical teamsProgram Leadership & CollaborationProven experience to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneouslyExperience leading cross-functional teams and complex initiativesPreferred QualificationsTelecom experienceUnderstands wireline telco financials and driversFamiliar with telco operations and associated KPIsUnderstanding of US fiber marketPhysical Demands & Work ConditionsPrimarily office-based work performed indoors from a home or company office, while operating a computer and other office productivity machinery such as copy machine and printerOccasional travel is requiredOccasional weekends in support of program launches #LI-RW1Additional Information:WHY JOIN US?We aspire to contemporary ways of working.Recognized as a Top Workplace by the Charlotte Observer, Brightspeed HQ is located on the 7th floor of the new Vantage South End - East Tower in Charlotte, NC. We prioritize hiring talent in the Charlotte area, whenever possible, to make it a truly vibrant destination for our hybrid workforce.
