Lionbridge is seeking a talented AI Research Scientist to drive innovation in our testing automation projects. You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing AI solutions, with a strong focus on GPT Vision research. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology and shape the future of testing.

What You'll Do

Conduct in-depth GPT Vision research, encompassing cost analysis, prompt engineering, and novel solution exploration.
Research and enhance bot capabilities to expand their role in testing automation.
Investigate innovative methods for testing physics and animation systems.
Participate in the parallel development of a framework to integrate these research ideas.
Perform extensive buffer research, integrating efficiently with the Unreal Rendering pipeline.
Develop tools and solutions to automate repetitive tasks, boosting efficiency.
Integrate new solutions with existing tools and pipelines.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in C#/C++.
Debug C# and C++ code to identify and resolve issues.
Instrument product code to enhance testability.
Contribute to the overall technical vision of the team.
Stay current with software testing best practices and industry trends.
Monitor software for errors and identify root causes.
Collaborate with internal QA and Development teams.


What You'll Bring

Proven experience in AI, with a strong emphasis on GPT Vision Research.
Hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs.
Familiarity with bot behaviors, ideally within a gaming context.
Proficiency in developing testing frameworks.
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with version control (Perforce preferred).
Basic understanding of command-line interfaces (Cmd, Powershell, etc.).
Fluent English.
Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures, with unit testing experience.
Experience with bug tracking tools.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent technical communication skills.
Experience with QA processes, test scope definition, and testing methodologies.


Bonus Points

Experience with AAA game aesthetics and gameplay functionalities.
Tools and automation development experience in desktop/console gaming environments.
Experience with Unreal Engine game development and CI/Build systems.
Strong C++ and C# debugging skills.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Professional coding experience in other programming languages.
Experience with major console devkits.
Experience in the game development lifecycle.
