We're looking for a AI Engineering Intern - Summer This role is Remote, United States Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a motivated AI Engineering Intern who is currently pursuing a degree and interested in building real-world experience with AI technologies. In this role, you will support the design and development of AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services, Copilot, and Generative AI tools while learning from experienced engineers. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on innovative AI projects that enhance business processes and drive impact across the organization. In this role, you will… Support the development of AI-powered applications using Azure OpenAI and other Azure AI services Assist in building and testing Generative AI solutions using prompt engineering and basic RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) concepts Help develop and improve AI-driven workflows and automation solutions Work with APIs and assist in integrating AI capabilities into internal tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint) Contribute to simple data pipelines and help prepare data for AI model usage Assist in experimenting with AI tools such as Copilot and documenting findings Support proof-of-concept projects to explore new AI technologies Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams on ongoing AI initiatives Help document processes, best practices, and learnings You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have… Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field Strong interest in AI/ML and emerging technologies like Generative AI Basic programming experience in Python, JavaScript, or C# Familiarity with APIs and general software development concepts Exposure to AI/ML concepts (coursework or personal projects is fine) Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Ability to work independently in a remote environment Nice to Have: Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Familiarity with tools like Git, REST APIs, or basic data processing Experience with prompt engineering or experimenting with LLMs (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) Personal or academic projects involving AI or automation Our Culture: Spark Greatness. The starting salary for the successful applicant will depend on several job-related factors, including education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, and market demands.
