AI Developer – LLM & Data Crawling (Patent Intelligence / Gap Analysis)
Co-Founder Opportunity: AI Developer (LLMs & Data Crawling) – Build the Future of Patent Intelligence
We are looking for an exceptional AI developer with strong experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and large-scale data crawling to join our team as a Co-Founder and technical leader.
About Us
We are building Patent Gap AI, a next-generation platform designed to uncover innovation opportunities within global patent landscapes. Our goal is to help companies, researchers, and investors identify unexplored technological spaces and strategic innovation gaps.
Today we are a team of 15 — including 10 domain experts and 5 core team members — working together to strengthen the technical and strategic capabilities of the platform.
The platform is currently running in a closed beta environment, and we are preparing for rapid growth and scaling in the coming phase.
The Role
We are seeking a hands-on AI developer who can take a leading role in shaping the technical architecture and AI capabilities of the platform.
You will join the company as Co-Founder, with equity ownership and the opportunity to define the technological direction of the product.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement LLM-driven intelligence pipelines
• Develop and optimize large-scale data crawling and ingestion systems (patent databases, research data, technical literature)
• Build semantic search, knowledge graphs, and AI-driven analysis tools
• Improve model performance, data pipelines, and infrastructure scalability
• Work closely with domain experts in innovation, IP strategy, and technology scouting
Required Experience
• Proven experience building systems with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Strong background in data crawling, scraping, and large-scale data processing
• Experience with Python, AI frameworks, and modern data infrastructure
• Experience working with vector databases, embeddings, or semantic search
• Ability to build production-grade AI systems
Nice to Have
• Experience with patent data, research databases, or knowledge graphs
• Background in machine learning, NLP, or information retrieval
• Startup experience or interest in building a company from the ground up
