AI Automation Specialist Needed for Personal AI Operating System Build (Not Business Related)

Remote Full-time
I'm looking for an experienced AI automation specialist to help me design, build, and continuously evolve a personal AI agent system that integrates into every part of my daily life. This is a personal project, not a business engagement, and I want someone who's genuinely excited about pushing the boundaries of what AI can do for an individual. Clear communication is a must. I need someone who speaks and writes fluent, perfectly clear English. We'll be collaborating closely and talking through ideas regularly, so strong communication isn't a nice-to-have, it's a requirement. What I'm Looking To Build I want to take full advantage of everything AI currently offers and build it into how I live, think, and stay organized. Think of this as a personal operating system powered by AI agents. Here's what I have in mind: Daily Automation & Productivity Task and to-do management (Microsoft To Do is currently a mess and needs a full overhaul), calendar and scheduling optimization, email triage and drafting, and morning/evening routine automations that keep me on track. Personalized News & Alerts Agents that scour the web and social media for topics I care about and people I follow, then deliver curated updates to me on my schedule. No more scrolling. I want the important stuff pushed to me. Personal Finance Management An agent that reviews my credit card statements, breaks out line items I specify, assigns them to custom categories, and delivers reports. Full visibility into where my money is going without the manual work. Personal Knowledge Base / Second Brain An AI agent that ingests everything I read, watch, save, and note (articles, bookmarks, voice memos, highlights) and lets me search and retrieve it all on demand. Similar to what tools like Rewind AI or Mem are doing, but tailored to me. Health & Biometrics Pull and analyze my biometric data from my Oura Ring (sleep, readiness, activity) and surface insights or flag trends I should pay attention to. Smart Home Control Integrate with my home lighting system so I can manage lights through the same AI layer that handles everything else. This doesn't need to run on any specific hardware. I have a Mac Mini M4 available but I'm open to cloud-based, hybrid, or whatever setup makes the most sense for the use case. The priority is building something that actually works and keeps working. Ideal Candidate You have hands-on experience building agentic AI workflows using tools like Claude (Anthropic API), OpenAI APIs, n8n, or similar automation frameworks. You're comfortable with API integrations, prompt engineering, and building real automations, not just demos. You stay current on what's new in AI and get excited about experimenting with new models, tools, and capabilities as they drop. Most importantly, you communicate well, think creatively, and can take a loose idea and turn it into something functional. Clear communication is a must. I need someone who speaks and writes fluent, perfectly clear English. We'll be collaborating closely and talking through ideas regularly, so strong communication isn't a nice-to-have, it's a requirement. Engagement This is a long-term, evolving collaboration, not a one-and-done project. I want a partner who's interested in building something over time, adding new automations and capabilities as AI tools improve and as we figure out what's most useful. We'll start with a discovery phase to map out priorities, then build iteratively from there. To Apply Share examples of AI automations you've built for personal productivity or individual use cases, bonus points if they involve agents, multi-step workflows, or creative applications of AI. Tell me briefly how you'd approach learning someone's daily habits and routines before building anything. Apply tot his job
