AI Automation Developer for Container ETA Tracking & Excel Updates Job Description: We are looking for an experienced AI/automation developer to build a smart agent that can automatically track and update container ETAs on a weekly basis. Our current workflow involves manually checking container statuses through a broker’s online portal and updating an Excel sheet. We want to fully automate this process. Project Overview: We maintain an Excel file containing a list of containers expected to arrive within the next two months. Each week, this file will be provided to the system. The AI agent should: 1. Read and process the provided Excel sheet 2. Log in securely to our broker’s web portal 3. Search for each container listed 4. Retrieve the most up-to-date ETA and relevant details 5. Update the Excel sheet with the latest ETA and any updated address/location data 6. Return the updated Excel file to us automatically --- Key Requirements: • Experience with AI agents, automation, or RPA (Robotic Process Automation) • Ability to build secure login workflows (handling credentials safely) • Experience with web scraping or browser automation (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, etc.) • Strong experience working with Excel files (read/write/update) • Ability to schedule and run the process weekly (cron jobs or similar) • Error handling and logging (e.g., failed lookups, login issues, missing data) --- Nice to Have: • Experience with logistics, shipping, or container tracking systems • Familiarity with OCR or handling dynamic web portals • Cloud deployment experience (AWS, GCP, or similar) --- Deliverables: • Fully functional automation/AI agent • Ability to upload a weekly Excel file and receive an updated version • Documentation on setup, usage, and maintenance • Secure handling of login credentials • Option for future scalability/improvements --- Additional Notes: • The solution must be reliable and require minimal manual intervention • We are open to different technical approaches (AI agent, RPA bot, or hybrid solution) • Please include examples of similar automation projects you’ve completed
