Agile/Scrum Master Contractor Coach (production oriented)

REMOTE POSITION. Due to client budget, pay rate must stay in the $35/hr to $42/hr as a Scrum Master Coach to help our Higher Ed client incorporate Scrum Methodology over 2 product teams. 5 years professional Scrum Master experience, preferably those that can help transform normal SDLC methodology into Scrum SDLC form.
We are looking for an experienced Agile/Scrum Master Coach to lead and optimize delivery processes for our organization in Tampa, Florida. This is a long-term contract position that will involve guiding teams in Agile practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring consistent value delivery. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in coaching teams, improving workflows, and leveraging metrics to enhance predictability.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure team alignment and productivity.
Mentor and coach teams on Agile principles and best practices to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
Monitor and analyze flow metrics, such as burndown charts and velocity, to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira and Lucidchart to manage workflows and visualize project progress.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and addressing process inefficiencies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Oracle Cloud Applications and HR Reporting projects.
Provide leadership in resolving roadblocks and dependencies to maintain project momentum.
Ensure transparency in communication across teams and stakeholders.
Promote a culture of accountability and adaptability within the teams.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a production-focused environment.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is required.
Proficiency in Agile tools such as Atlassian Jira and Lucidchart.
Strong understanding of Agile metrics, including burndown charts and velocity tracking.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Applications and reporting processes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.
Ability to coach and mentor teams on Agile principles and practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies and resolve project roadblocks effectively.
