You are more than just your resume; you are a reflection of your achievements, the knowledge you've gained, and the personal interests that shape who you are.Position OverviewZelis is hiring a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead an Agile Release Train (ART) comprising 17 Scrum teams and over 200 team members across the United States and India. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction with senior and executive leadership. You will coordinate quarterly planning, coach agile teams and leaders, and drive delivery excellence across a globally distributed environment.The ideal candidate is an experienced agile delivery leader who can operate both strategically and tactically — someone who facilitates delivery at scale while also strengthening agile maturity across teams. You will play a critical role in building cross-team alignment, improving value flow, and reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement.What You’ll Do:Facilitate SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect and Adapt workshopsCoach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on agile principles and scaled agile practicesIdentify and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and blockers to support delivery flowPresent delivery status, risks, and PI outcomes during executive reviews and senior leadership meetingsBuild and maintain a community of practice to align agile approaches across business unitsSupport and develop Scrum Masters to strengthen agile leadership capabilityProvide hands-on support to teams where agile maturity is still developingUse tools such as Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Aha, or Rally to manage work visibility and coordinationWhat You Bring to Zelis:Minimum 7 years of experience in agile delivery, including at least 3 years leading Agile Release Trains or large-scale agile programmesProven experience working with globally distributed teams, ideally across the United States and IndiaStrong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to work across all organisational levelsDeep understanding of SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban, with a pragmatic and outcomes-focused mindsetDemonstrated ability to lead by influence in a matrixed organisationProfessional presence and fluency in communicating with executive stakeholdersSAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification or equivalent scaled agile credential preferredProficiency in enterprise agile tools such as Jira Align, Rally, or AhaLocation and Workplace FlexibilityWe have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
