PCB PRICER / COST ESTIMATORWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical PCB Pricer / Cost Estimator to price quote requests from our customers. In this role, you will verify technical input from our team members to ensure requirements are accurately defined. Success in this role requires a strong blend of PCB technical knowledge, mathematical aptitude, and clear communication skills.RESPONSIBILITIESCost Estimation & Quoting• Analyze customer requests and technical data to develop an accurate cost / price.• Calculate BOM costs, and optimize panelization (number up per-panel)• Determine process requirements, based on product attributes and requirements, including: blind and buried vias, lamination cycles, drill cycles and via-fill cycles• Apply IPC Class 2, Class 3, and Mil-Spec standards to quotes as requiredCollaboration & Communication• Interface directly with CSRs and Sales teams to clarify customer needs and resolve technical ambiguities• Collaborate with technical staff to evaluate complex product requirements • Maintain professional communication via email and phone with both internal teams and customers
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONSRequired • Minimum 2 years of experience in PCB cost estimation, CAM design, or a related technical role within printed circuit board manufacturing.• An excellent employment track record, with good references • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; comfortable working with spreadsheets for cost modelingPreferred• Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent technical education• Experience with specialty laminates, pre-pregs, and advanced stack-up configurations• Background in quoting or estimating for both commercial and military/aerospace PCB applicationsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR• Extremely high attention to detail - accuracy is non-negotiable in this role• Strong work ethic, reliability, and personal accountabilityQuick learner who can read, comprehend, and retain complex technical information
