About the Program
The Advanced Pharmacovigilance Practice Experience (APvPE) is a part-time, project-based learning program designed for professional development. This is a non-employment, unpaid position without employee benefits. Participants receive a stipend (up to $600) to support necessary resources for program completion.
Role Description
As an APvPE participant, you will practice developing pharmacovigilance strategies, support regulatory compliance processes, assist in clinical trials analysis, and work collaboratively on operational strategy and intelligence systems. You'll gain hands-on experience at the nexus of clinical safety, data science, and regulatory affairs to drive impactful patient safety outcomes.
Qualifications
• Current enrollment in or completion of a degree-granting program in pharmacy, pharmacovigilance, health sciences, or a related field
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and foundational knowledge of regulatory affairs
• Foundational knowledge or experience in pharmacy and medicine
• Familiarity with clinical trial processes and safety procedures
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to process complex data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
