Compensation and Benefits This position is eligible for a generous sign-on bonus of $4500! (Current team members or former team members employed within the last six months are not eligible). Repayment is required if the commitment is not fulfilled. Skills • Successfully completed paramedic training program from an accredited institution. • Previous ambulance or advanced life support experience preferred. • Demonstrated ability to organize, problem-solve, make decisions in emergencies, and work independently. • Knowledge of the street and highway system within the service area. Responsibilities • Provide advanced life support care to the sick and injured. • Safely transport patients of all ages to medical facilities. • Assist with other services and events as directed. Qualifications • Associate of Science degree preferred. • Current Minnesota or Wisconsin Paramedic Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire). • American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification (or American Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification) upon hire or within 14 days. • Valid State Class D driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. • American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Certification. Education Requirements • Successful completion of a paramedic training program from an accredited institution. Education Requirements Credential Category • Associate of Science degree preferred. Experience Requirements • Previous ambulance or advanced life support experience preferred.
